‘Veronica Mars’: Clifton Collins Jr. & Izabela Vidovic To Recur On Hulu Revival
Westworld’s Clifton Collins Jr. and Izabela Vidovic (Wonder) are set for recurring roles in Hulu’s eight-episode Veronica Mars revival set for premiere in 2019.

The reboot returns star Kristen Bell, Enrico Colantoni and Jason Dohring to the series that ran for three seasons on Upn and the CW from 2004-2007. In the revival, spring breakers are getting murdered in Neptune, thereby decimating the seaside town’s lifeblood tourist industry. After Mars Investigations is hired by the parents of one of the victims to find their son’s killer, Veronica (Bell) is drawn into an epic mystery that pits the enclave’s wealthy elites, who would rather put an end to the month-long bacchanalia, against a working class that relies on the cash influx that comes with being the West Coast’s answer to Daytona Beach.

Collins will play Alonzo, a mid-level hitman for a Mexican cartel. Because of his facility with English,

Arrowverse’s ‘Elseworlds’ crossover adds DC supervillain Psycho-Pirate

Not content with debuting Batwoman, Lois Lane, John Wesley Shipp’s 90s Flash, The Monitor and Nora Fries, the upcoming Arrowverse crossover ‘Elseworlds’ is set to introduce another DC Comics character in Roger Hayden, a.k.a. Psycho-Pirate.

The character, who is being portrayed by Bob Frazer (The 100), will be appearing in the Arrow and Supergirl episodes of the crossover, where he’ll be an inmate at Arkham Asylym under Jeremy Davies’ villainous Dr. John Deegan.

The first incarnation of Psycho-Pirate, Charles Halstead, debuted in All-Star Comics #23 back in 1944, with the Roger Hayden version making his first appearance in Showcase #56 in 1965.

Hayden’s Psycho-Pirate was previously referenced in The Flash in the episode ‘Nora’, where Hayden was quoted in a newspaper article from 2049 talking about Barry Allen’s final battle with the Reverse-Flash. His appearance in the crossover will mark his live-action debut.

Arrowverse Crossover: Is Psycho-Pirate Joining the Villainous Mix?

The Arrowverse crossover’s latest addition is a real psycho: Bob Frazer will guest-star during the three-night “Elseworlds” event as Arkham Asylum inmate Roger Hayden, TVLine has learned.

Miranda Otto, one of the stars of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, says filming the show reminded her of The Lord of the Rings.

Speaking to Vulture, Otto was asked about the Spellman house and what it was like filming on such a detailed set: “I love all the sets. I particularly love our house because there’s just this amazing amount of detail in everything. In that way, it reminded me a little bit of Lord of the Rings, when you walked on that set. “We went straight into the second season from the first,” Shipka said. “It’s been really so exceptionally fun to film, especially given the fact that I feel like we’re already in such a rhythm from coming out of the first season that to jump right into the second one was really, really fun and just a great opportunity to keep the momentum going. We definitely… Sabrina definitely changes and shifts a lot.

‘Ahs’ Star Adina Porter on Bringing Personal Experience to ‘Apocalypse’s’ Voodoo

  • Variety
‘Ahs’ Star Adina Porter on Bringing Personal Experience to ‘Apocalypse’s’ Voodoo
When Adina Porter first signed on to “American Horror Story: Apocalypse,” she was told her character, Dinah Stevens, was a “self-made billionaire like Oprah.” And while that certainly proved to be true — Dinah was a wildly successful talk show host before the events that led to the end of the world and her taking refuge in the Outpost 3 bunker — it was just one layer to a complicated woman.

“Dinah is a chameleon and she becomes whoever she needs to become for whoever her employer happens to be, whether it’s a rich Beverly Hills socialite or Papa Legba,” Porter tells Variety.

The seventh episode of “Apocalypse,” titled “Traitor,” revealed that Dinah’s drive came heavily from her roots as a voodoo priestess.

Porter says she learned her character would have magic within her while she was shooting the first episode of the season and was soon after told to watch
